Published: March 12, 2024Circular 02, 2024. The SJIB introduced new Fire, Emergency and Security Systems (FESS) cards in February 2024. These cards will replace the old Fire and Security cards. Any existing Fire and Security cards will be honoured until the expiry date.

Following the publication of new statutory minimum rates of pay to come into effect on 1 April 2024, the agreed rates for Stage 1 & Stage 2 Apprentices have been amended to reflect the statutory requirements. The new rates will apply with effect from Monday 1 January 2024.
